( ;D --> Xeno and Oaklander are based in Brooklyn, NY. They began writing music in 2004. Miss Liz Wendelbo is French / Norwegian and Sean McBride is from Maryland. They record their songs live in their studio and play analogue synthesizers and instruments exclusively. They have toured Europe and the West Coast extensively, and they have played on the East Coast in music venues, lofts and festivals, and have also performed at SF Moma, PS1 Warm Up, Miami Art Basel, the Zürich Kunsthalle and the New Museum in New York.)

( ;D --> Murcof is the performing and recording name of Mexican electronica artist Fernando Corona. Corona was born in 1970 in Tijuana, Mexico and raised in Ensenada. He was for a time a member of the Tijuana-based Nortec Collective of electronic musicians under the Terrestre project name. In 2000 he returned to Tijuana, but has since relocated to Barcelona, Spain.angre iluminada. Murcof's music is sparse, minimalist, electronica. Although founded on abstract, glitchy, sometimes complex electronic percussion, Corona's recordings are more melodic and traditionally structured than many contemporary electronic musicians. Many recordings feature orchestral strings sampled from recordings of works by modern composers such as Arvo Pärt.)

The band was originally named Grid and later changed their name to the politically motivated Kevorkian Death Cycle. The band released its first album, Collection for Injection, on the Ras Dva label. After a 1997 tour with Spahn Ranch, they became popular with the underground community. The band moved to the Metropolis label in 1998 and in the fall released their second album Dark Skies. They later played with Front 242 and went on tour with Front Line Assembly.)
