( ;D --> One of my favourite producers Danger Mouse collaborating with Italian composer Daniele Luppi on an album of theatrical Spagetti movie soundscapes, and the vocals of Jack White and Norah Jones. How could it possibly fail?)

ROME
www.myspace.com/romecmi
( ;D --> After having played in several underground bands in Luxembourg,singer-songwriter Jerome Reuter almost unintentionally founded ROME in December 2005. The music and lyrical world of ROME is genuinely unique and constantly brilliant. Blending excellent songwriting craftsmanship, unusual arrangements and fine poetry into one monstruous and intimate musical output that combines chanson, dark ambient, apocalyptic folk, pop, acoustic rock, martial industrial, cold wave – all rolled into one impressive avantgarde package.)
Our Holy Rue/The Merchant Fleet

( ;D--> Gone! Gone are the days of mellow and lush ballads, it seems - for this is ROME at its rawest! As an artist Jerome Reuter remains completely unpredictable, which may come as a shock to those who discovered ROME as a Chanson Noir outfit: What you are looking for is gone for good! "Our Holy Rue" is a harsh, industrial beauty: relentless and uncompromising. And the rather folkish song "The Merchant Fleet" is an instant classic, dedicated to Jerome's brotherhood of the sea!)

Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows
www.myspace.com/soporaeternusofficial
www.soporaeternus.de
( ;D --> Officially founded in 1989, the Germany based SOPOR AETERNUS & THE ENSEMBLE OF SHADOWS is one of the last of the very few dark groups/projects in Europe (in fact, on this planet), who have based the trinity of their music, poetry and visual appearance on the explicit emphasis of the highly individual expression of pain, isolation, depression, token suicides and the desperate search for the ?sacred reunion?; all conceived and acted out by SOPOR's sole protagonist ? ? the transgendered and utterly beautiful Goddess (and likewise tragically Butoh-esque creature) ANNA-VARNEY CANTODEA.)
Have You Seen This Ghost?
www.infrarot.de/sopor-aeternus/have-you-seen-this-ghost/2008266
( ;D --> There are no words to adequately describe the enchanted music(k) of Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows' release. Those of you, who are familiar with Anna-Varney Cantodea's art, know that s/he (literally) plays in her own league. Generally speaking, her work is always like the forgotten soundtrack to a phantastic, gothic horror film that was never meant for a human audience to see ... - and this album is certainly no exception.)
